Prismfire is a 3D roguelite set in a variety of locations in the vastness of space. Explore unique sectors in space and experience their unique environmental effects while battling and evading an endless horde of pursuers and space beasts, find and reach the dimensional crystal, crack open its containment device, and use the energy it contains to escape your pursuers and earn powerful augments!

The game is under development and in the prototype / prototype stage, and many features are yet to be implemented. So expect bugs and unfinished mechanics, that said, any feedback is greatly appreciated! For further information on where the development is going, consider reading the devlogs, I work hard on them ;p

Just played the game, the concept is great, like a 2D space shooter but in 3D. Sure, lacks content and polish, but that is fixable given the prototype is fine. I like how the navigation hologram is similar to the one from Outer Wilds. Also got major Outer Wilds vibes overall from this for some reason, more so in the sandbox level, where  I did  not encounter any  enemies. I guess just flying in space is cool. I could get it running on Linux but on Windows graphics were glitching due to a bit outdated drivers. I am not sure why but given Unreal it should work even with older drivers unless you are using the very latest graphics APIs or if  support for older drivers or hardware is not enabled.

Cool game. I kept dying fairly quickly, but I'm also bad at these kinds of games, so I'll have to keep trying until I get the hang of it. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!

The volume setting didn't seem to work, and I had a hard time figuring out how fast I was going or how much damage I had taken, but I think that'll be fine once the HUD is finished.

I'll be updating it after the rating period with a bunch of features I couldn't implement in time! My friends and I have become attached to the project so we may end up making a full version, we'll see. :p

So much potential! Blowing up a Frigate and rolling through the wreckage is just so satisfying! Is there a way to tell how many missiles you have left?

Thank you for the kind words!

Unfortunately I had a counter set up on the screen in the most recent version but had a compile error and couldn't fix it in time, so this version is a day old. I'm going to keep working on this project and make sure the HUD gets done and finish the ending.
